Millward Brown increases Asia offering with Vietnamese licensee

LONDON – WPP-owned Millward Brown is expanding its Asia Pacific presence by appointing Vietnamese market research company, Consumer Insights, as its licensee in Vietnam.

Customer Insights, established in 2003, provides research-based consulting to brand marketers in Vietnam.

The agency has headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City offering both quantitative and qualitative marketing research through national fieldwork coverage centred out of Hanoi, Danang, Nha Trang, Can Tho, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

Consumer Insights national fieldwork team has been working with Millward Brown Thailand for the past 18 months combining its local knowledge with Millward Brown's global expertise.

Richard Burrage, director of Customer Insights, said. "Our clients can now expect the best of local insight combined with world-class practice."

Chaniya Nakalugshana, managing director of Millward Brown Thailand, said its existing customers will also benefit from the deal.

"Millward Brown has been working with clients in Vietnam for some time and these clients will benefit greatly from our increased presence there," he said.

Top 10 market research company Millward Brown has more than 70 offices in 42 countries, with recent acquisitions including US and UK online research company Dynamic Logic and Korean-based company Media Research Inc.
