Miller, currently director of business development, will be based in San Francisco working closely with the global tech teams in GPJ's San Carlos office.
He said: "My remit is to win new business and expand our offer across the US. A major part of this will be to collaborate with our other Project Worldwide offices."
Miller will be replaced in the UK by Toni Griggs, who revealed the move last month. She will leave her current role of operations manager at the International Special Events Society.
