Microsoft and Vodafone strike mobile internet deal

LONDON (Brand Republic) – Microsoft and Vodafone have struck an agreement to offer mobile internet services.

The service will aim to provide wireless customers with tools such as the Microsoft Exchange calendar, contacts list and personalised web content which would be available on their PC.

During trials, users will be able to access services including Microsoft’s Outlook messaging service and other Office software. Commercial products are expected early next year.
