LONDON - Microsoft has appointed Wunderman to work on global consumer ad campaigns for search engine Bing and new operating system Windows 7.

Wunderman has taken on consumer campaign activity for MSN, Windows 7 and Bing.

Microsoft has gradually moved its ad accounts from McCann Erickson to WPP Group agencies JWT, Wunderman and G2.

The latest tranch of work was shifted to Wunderman after it presented a proposal to Microsoft to consolidate the business.

Wunderman is currently working on UK marketing activity for Bing, which is in beta testing here. The US launch has been backed by a high profile ad from JWT.

Marketing for Bing and Windows 7 is expected to roll out in the UK this autumn
