Stuck for things to do in between Christmas and New Year? Don’t fret, there is still plenty to do over the holiday season.
Head down to Hyde Park until 3 January to experience the thrill of a ride, test out your ice skating skills or to simply sip on mulled wine and indulge in some festive fare. This year the event features outerwear retailer Regatta, an alpine-style bar area by Jägermeister, and a street food market and ice bar coined Zippo’s Christmas Circus.
Cocktail-lovers will be pleased to hear that Mr Fogg’s has also erected a pop-up cocktail within the space.
Pay a visit to Oxford Street to view its 2015 Christmas lights, which are sponsored by Pandora. The lights, which will remain switched on until 31 December, are comprised of 445 new golden baubles. They shine between the street’s existing silver lights, and take their inspiration from falling snowflakes.
The Lunar Lookout pop-up at John Lewis in London’s Oxford Street, which is inspired by the retailer’s 2015 Christmas advert, will remain open until 31 December.
Head to the store's rooftop space for festive food and beverages including mulled wine, which can be enjoyed in one of the many snugs situated around the venue. Plaques with information about the moon are similarly located around the space, meanwhile visitors can attempt to locate the moon by looking through a telescope.
One for the Disney fans among us – London’s St Pancras International is housing a 14-metre Disney Junior Christmas tree until 4 January. The tree has been created using 2,000 soft Disney toys, and a one-metre high Mickey Mouse toy sits on top of the construction.
