Mentos "Small talk" by BBH London

In a world more digitally connected than ever, are people becoming less comfortable with in-person interaction?

Mentos touches on this issue with a campaign that champions small talk. The brand is encouraging people to make the first step towards meeting someone new with ads that depict heroes grappling with awkward situations outside their comfort zones. Whether it’s being introduced to a girlfriend’s dad for the first time or meeting new people at a house party, each protagonist gains the freshness and confidence to small talk thanks to Mentos. The work was created by Sara Sutherland and Ash Hamilton and directed by Jeff Low through Biscuit Filmworks.
