My mentor is David Abraham, chief executive of UKTV. I worked with him there as well as for St Luke's, the creative ad agency he founded, although after he had left.
From him I learned how to build and invest in innovative and strong brands, which is hard in media. When I joined UKTV it was launching Dave and rewriting the book on how to launch a media brand.
David taught me the importance of having courage in your convictions, being ambitious and putting your money where your mouth is.
