Mindshare was the previous incumbent on the TV planning and buying part of the account and had worked on the business for three years.
Everest had also used the direct and digital agency Equi=Media to work on an online customer acquisition programme.
Following the appointment of Mindshare, Everest embarked on its first TV campaign in almost a decade, and stressed its energy efficiency with the tagline: "Making more of your environment."
TV spots by MBA, featuring the Irish sports presenter Craig Doyle, aired across ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
Everest, which works on more than 40,000 home improvements a year, built its brand in the 80s with a series of ads featuring the farmer Ted Moult.
