What’s something every media industry person should do before they’re 30?
Travel – definitely for pleasure, but also as importantly for work. Understanding how different markets, clients and individuals embrace media around the world is not only great for broadening global media knowledge, but also great inspiration to see how to find solutions where budgets or resources may be tighter than we have in the UK.
If you could only take one thing to a desert island, what would you choose and why?
Is it cheating if I stitch together all the Harry Potters into one big book? If so, I would pack Daphne Du Maurier’s ‘Frenchman’s Creek’, as it is equally wonderful at transporting you to another world of imagination and magic – albeit a different type of magic – and it involves a pirate, so great for ideas on how to escape a desert island!
