What’s something every media industry person should do before they’re 30?
Ours is an industry with endless opportunity. The pace of change is relentless and it’s very easy to get swept up in the next big thing.
Media types love to run at 100mph - often forgetting what it is that they are actually good at.
This is an incredible industry to be in under the age of 30 as you are in total control of your own destiny.
So, I think every media industry person under 30 should make sure they set aside time to slow down! Take a moment. Reflect on your strengths and be honest about your weaknesses. Figure out what you enjoy; then make sure your career is travelling in that direction.
That should help make your 30s less intimidating!
