McCririck gets the boot from Celebrity Big Brother house

LONDON - Racing pundit John McCririck became the second housemate to be voted out of the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house last night, as the public voted overwhelmingly to keep former Happy Monday dancer Bez inside.

Only 39% of the public voted to keep ranting racing pundit McCririck in the house.

On hearing the news, McCririck said to his housemates: "Fantastic. Don't stand up," before rushing out of the house, demanding he did not want any fuss to be made -- for the first time during his stay.

During his interview with Davina McCall, McCririck was clearly still reeling from his 'Big Brother'/Diet Coke saga, which saw him refuse to talk to his fellow housemates. He shouted: "I've got a contract. Big Brother can't break a contract."

When McCall suggested John see the lighter side of the situation, he boomed back: "It wasn't funny at all. It was disgusting."

On his other housemates, McCririck hoped that Lisa I'Anson would win the show, despite having an explosive row with the former Radio 1 DJ.

"She stood tall. I love Lisa. She used the 'c' word on me and I thought that was wonderful. She's a proper woman. Cuddly, you can get hold of her," he said.

Meanwhile, Blazin' Squad member Kenzie is still the hot favourite to win the series with odds of 4/5.

Warren Lush, spokesman at bookmakers Ladbrokes, said: "He [Kenzie] is starting to build up a big lead on the other housemates."

Bez odds have been cut to 8/1 to win from 10/1 and he is 8/11 favourite to leave the house next.

Brigitte Nielsen is second favourite to win on 5/2 while former 'Holby City' actor Jeremy Edwards is third on 7/1.

Caprice and I'Anson are outsiders on 16/1 and 50/1 respectively.

'Big Brother' phonelines are open for the public to decide who they want to win. One housemate will be evicted tomorrow night and a subsequent eviction will take place on Friday 21, with the live final taking place on Sunday 23 at 9pm.
