Using the latest enterprise grade Meraki equipment, city-based event space can now offer connectivity to devices which communicate on both the 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz radio frequencies.

It means the venue can now offer free Wifi to delegates.

"We have created this service in response to market demand. With demand increasing and the Olympics next year, venues will need to up their game if they’re looking to remain relevant in today’s demanding events and conference market," said Max Wifi managing dirdctor Richard Hughes.

Mermaid Conference and Events Centre head of public relations Carol Anderson said: "Demand from our clients has increased considerably and this is not going to slow down. We realised investing in the future was a necessity not a luxury."
