It comes as Mash announced the agency had achieved the same level of growth in revenue for the last 12 months.

told Event the company attributes its growth to a more focused business drive, as well as a restructure of the management team. "I came on board 18 months ago, and myself, Phil Edelston [co-founder] and Emma Maisey [group operations director] have more focused roles which has inevitably helped Mash to grow," he explained.

He added retail and the corporate sector will be key areas for the business in 2015, and while he expressed interest for Mash to expand overseas in areas such as Europe, Asia and the US, Wareham said its UK operations will be its core focus in 2015.

"It’s a massive ambition for us to grow internationally, but growth in the next 12 months will mean maintaining a great UK service before we explore any global opportunities," Wareham said.

News of the growth comes as Mash has been awarded the Investors in People accreditation, following an intensive review of the business by an independent assessor. This included interviews with all internal staff and a significant number of the agency’s event managers and brand ambassadors.

Edelston said when the company was formed ten years ago, he wanted to build a business that focused entirely on providing great people. "That has been our core aim from the start, so to be awarded IIP accreditation is an immensely rewarding reflection of what Mash is about," he explained.

Investors in People is the UK's leading accreditation for business improvement through people management.

Mash currently works with agencies , Initials and The Marketing Store on experiential campaigns.
