LONDON - All chocolate bars manufactured in Mars' Slough factory are now certified kosher.
The Kashrut Division of the London Beth Din (KLBD), a kosher certification board, has ensured that Mars bars, Snickers, Galaxy block, Ripple and Minstrels and three flavours of Tracker bars are now suitable for Jewish consumers.
The change will be communicated through a kosher logo on the label, which will be phased in over the next year.
Fairtrade chocolate brand Divine announced last month that all nine variants of its chocolate bar had been granted kosher certification.
