The shop will be open from 23 November. It is to offer members of the public a fun way to get their hands on a 250g jar of the condiment personalised with their own, or a loved one’s, name in time for Christmas.

The store will be located within an old Whistles outlet and will be decked out with Christmas décor. It will remain open until 24 December.

To kick off the campaign, Marmite brought the people with the ‘most comical’ names in Britain to London. Jo King, Terry Bull, Iona Wolff, Tim Burr, Holly Wood and Jim Hall were the first people in the world to be handed a personalised Marmite jar straight from the brand's factory.

The jars will also be available to personalise and purchase from the Marmite Facebook page for £4.99.
