Marks & Spencer poaches womenswear buyer from Asda

Marks & Spencer has hired Sara Bradley, formerly the clothing buyer for Sainsbury's Tu range, just before she was due to begin a new role at Asda.

Bradley headed the Tu clothing range . She had agreed to return to Asda, where she worked before joining Sainsbury's, to become head of buying for the George range.

Bradley's appointment  with M&S will be a blow for Asda,.

A Marks & Spencer spokesperson said: "We have offered Sara a role in our womenswear team as head of buying for M&S Brands and we are delighted that she is now joining us."

, with growth receiving a boost from sales of its Taste the Difference range.
