Duddin will replace Claire Lawson, who officially left last week after seven successful years at the venue.
Currently working as event sales and marketing director, Duddin has also been with the Brewery for seven years and has a wealth of experience in events.
“I am delighted to be given this opportunity to drive business at the Brewery forward and maintain our award winning status,” said Duddin. “I am lucky to work within a very talented team who I will work alongside to continue delivering superb events.”
The new appointment will take effect on 1 January 2009. Until then, Harminder Bahl, director of commercial operations for EC&O will take the position of interim general manager, assisting Duddin in her transition to the new job.
