Launched before Saturday's (3 December) home game against Norwich City, the festive markets will also be open before the games this month against Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Stoke.
The market features stalls selling a variety of products from football memoerabilla and food stalls to a Harvey Nichols pop-up stall. Fans and visitors to the market can also expect other entertainment in the outdoor space in the form of live bands and DJ sets.
Manchester City head of event production Nick Becker said: "The December markets are loved by everyone in Manchester, and with City Square, we have the ideal setting to put our stamp on what is a great day out for fans and families alike."
