
The exhibition was only staged for one day in 2011, but the new two-day format for 2012 has proved more successfulthan organisers envisaged, with attendance increasing from 7,000 from 17,000.
"Last year's Brighton Marathon Exhibition was a great success, but this year's show defied all our expectations," said Matt Hudson of Generate Events, the exhibition organisers. "We were delighted that so many of the running brands, retailers and charities, who were with us in 2011, chose to return with even bigger and better stands this year."
The exhibition, which ran from 13-14 April, was a showcase for running companies and brands specialising in running-related activities, as well as marathon targeted nutrition.
There was also an opportunity for early registration into the 2013 Brighton Marathon, taking place on Sunday 14 April.
