Makosi's popularity fades as Big Brother eviction night approaches

LONDON - Makosi, the one-time favourite to win this year's series of 'Big Brother', is now the second favourite to be evicted tonight, with six of the housmates unknowingly facing the boot.

Derek, Eugene, Makosi, Vanessa, Science and Orlaith are all up for the chop. However, producers have lied to the housemates and told Anthony, Craig and Kemal that they face eviction instead.

Student Vanessa is most likely to leave the house on odds of 5/4, according to bookmakers William Hill.

Vanessa has long remained the least likely to win 'Big Brother' for bookmakers, but the public has not yet had the chance to evict her. This week's eviction has a twist, with housemates having to decide which of the two least popular housemates will leave the house this week.

Makosi has been favourite to win 'Big Brother' since it began 50 days ago, but she is seeing her popularity dwindle in and outside the house.

Most recently she has claimed that she believes she is pregnant with Anthony's baby after a romp in the Jacuzzi. Last night, she was seen launching a foul-mouthed tirade to turn the others off Orlaith, who she is angry with for making Vanessa exercise "all the time".

"Madame is just trying to take over in here. At the end of the day I've got my big eyes on her. I'm so watching her," Makosi said to others in the house.

Derek is proving to be more of a hit with viewers than originally presumed and is the least likely to be booted out tonight with odds of 20/1.

The 40-year-old, who has has penned speeches for the likes of Margaret Thatcher and Lord Michael Heseltine while working in the House of Commons, has obviously been impressing the nation with his knowledge and dry wit.

Orlaith, who says she is one of Belfast's top models, is third most likely to leave tonight with odds of 9/2.

Kemal had earlier admitted to Vanessa and Orlaith that he is nervous about tonight.

"Before I came in here I thought long and hard about my entrance and exit and I'm not prepared for my exit yet," Kemal said, unaware he has been spared from this week's eviction.
