Levitt is expected to leave in the coming months. His exit follows a recent restructure of Mail Newspapers' commercial operations.

The restructure prompted Levitt to move from his role as head of magazines, a role in which he headed up advertising for You, Live and Weekend magazines, to a new role as head of strategy.

He has spent around five years at Mail Newspapers. In his role as of head of strategy, he reported to advertising director John Teal.

Prior to his time at Mail Newspapers, Levitt was a director at the media publisher Totally. Prior to this, he was an executive at advertising agency BBH.
