LONDON - Magners Pear has launched a holiday-themed TV ad campaign continuing its 100% Pear 0% disappointment positioning.

The new ad features comedian Mark Watson, who has appeared in all the Magners Pear adverts since the product launch earlier this year.

 

The concept behind the latest ad, created by Euro RSCG London, follows the same premise - disappointments that you encounter on a day-to-day basis.

 

In the ad Watson explains how his recent holiday was such a disappointment and how happy he is to come home to Magners Pear.

 

Paul Bartlett, marketing director for Magners Irish Cider, said: 'This new advert is timed perfectly with the summer holiday season - and we hope that this will help to drive footfall into trade as consumers seek out the new product.

 

‘Distribution of Magners Pear has been building since the launch and we are confident that this will only increase throughout the rest of the year,' he added.
