Macmillan offers 'mystery' trips

LONDON - Publisher Macmillan has linked up with the Borders retail chain and luxury travel company Orient-Express for a prize-draw competition.

Consumers who purchase Death Under the Dryer, a new novel by crime mystery author Simon Brett, in a Borders store will be given the chance to win two tickets for a Brighton Murder Mystery trip.

Macmillan will promote the partnership, which has been set up by Cocktail Marketing, via a microsite and stickers on Brett's books.

Customers buying other Brett titles from Borders will also be entitled to a discount when booking tickets for the murder mystery trip.

In return, Macmillan is giving away copies of the novel to passengers who book tickets for Orient-Express services.

The promotion will run from later this month until September.
