M&S to sponsor Eve fashion supplement

LONDON - Haymarket's women's monthly Eve is to launch its first fashion accessories supplement next week, which will be sponsored by Marks & Spencer.

The 36-page inbound supplement, '1001 Accessories Every Woman Should Own', will be published biannually.

The high-street retailer previously sponsored an accessories supplement for Vogue.

Lucy Calver, M&S head of marketing for womenswear and lingerie, said "Accessories are a vital part of any outfit, M&S sells a fantastic range of them from bags to necklaces to cocktail rings. We're delighted to be able to support eve with its first accessories supplement."

Eve has signalled a desire to build its fashion coverage with the recent appointment of an executive fashion editor and the creation of Eve Milan, a team of commercial, editorial and PR staff that will focus on fashion.

The supplement is edited by Carmen Borgonovo, former accessories director at W Magazine, with photography linked to product images in M&S' autumn/winter in-store advertising.

It will appear in the September issue of Eve, on sale July 26, with a second to follow in March next year.

Haymarket, which also publishes Media Week and Brand Republic, bought Eve from BBC Magazines last year.
