United Business Media sells two titles to Haymarket

LONDON - United Business Media's has sold two magazines, Printing World and Packaging Magazine, to Haymarket Publishing Group for £2.1m.

The two magazines were part of CMPi, UBM's UK and European professional media business, which also publishes titles such as Music Week.

The two acquisitions allow Haymarket, owner of Brand Republic, to strengthen existing titles. Printing World will join Haymarket's other printing title, Print Week, while Packaging Magazine will join Packaging News, which Haymarket bought last year as part of its acquisition of titles from Quantum that also saw it take control of Media Week, AV and Eye.
