M&S opens Facebook store for Father's Day

Marks & Spencer is using its Facebook presence to target shoppers ahead of Father's Day this Sunday pushing themed products through a new store on the social network.

The retailer is using technology from Zibaba to power the store, which sits within .  

Though directing customers to the Marks & Spencer website to complete transactions, Facebook users can browse products from within Facebook and shares goods they ‘Like’ with their Facebook friends.  

The store features gifts such as clothing, electrical goods and travel accessories.  

Zibaba has already worked with retailers including M&S, Dell UK and HMV, though the company was only founded in 2008, with the Facebook storefront service launching at the end of last year.
