The competition, which will begin later this year, aims to give fathers, mothers, sons and daughters the chance to compete as a family in an informal, fun environment. The partnership will be further marketed across the five ATP and WTA tournaments stages annually by the LTA.

Further details regarding the tournament’s name and dates will be confirmed at a later date.

James Mercer, LTA commercial director, said: "We are thrilled that Quorn is joining LTA’s family of sponsors. It has strong healthy lifestyle brand values and developing recreational tennis competition is an important focus for the LTA to move the sport forwards.

"It is great to have a powerhouse brand like Quorn supporting us in our aim to get more people playing tennis, more often."

Peter Harrison, Quorn’s marketing director, added: "We’re proud to announce the partnership between the LTA and Quorn, encouraging more families to play tennis more often and to eat healthy food to complement their active lifestyle."
