The pitch, which was called in September, saw the Interpublic Group of Companies-owned Lowe compete against WPP Group networks J Walter Thompson and Young & Rubicam, and Grey Global, the incumbent on the Electrolux floorcare business in Europe.
A final decision is expected shortly, but Lowe is reported to be the only agency to attend a final meeting at the Swedish firm's headquarters in Stockholm.
Earlier this year, Electrolux appointed Lowe in the Philippines to handle the creative and media briefs of its White Westinghouse brand and the media assignment of the Electrolux brand. Lowe already handles the Electrolux brand in most Asian markets.
The review, which was conducted with international search consultancy Agency Assessments, came about following organisational changes that saw Electrolux chief executive Hans Straberg overhaul group strategy.
The pitch did not include incumbent Bartle Bogle Hegarty, which has held the UK account since 1993. However, BBH will retain Electrolux's AEG white goods brand, won earlier this year on a pan-European basis.
Electrolux produces appliances for inside and outside the home, ranging from refrigerators and washing machines to chainsaws and lawnmowers. Its portfolio of brands includes Zanussi and Flymo among others.
