The Cambridge Film Festival is taking place at the Arts Picturehouse until July 17 and will feature international independent cinema productions including the UK premiere of the Cannes Grand Prix-winning 'Broken Flowers' by Jim Jarmusch.
LoveFilm will have an exhibition stand at the festival, where it will demonstrate the online DVD service using laptops while offering customers a free trial and giving away cinema tickets.
There will be LoveFilm trailers playing before the majority of films and screens in the bar area will play the LoveFilm ad, as well as branding on programmes.
The Shooting People Mobile Cinema Tour, now in its second year, will see three filmmakers taking to the road in a branded LoveFilm van to show contemporary short films around the UK.
The tour will respond to calls from film fans and set up a projector in pubs, clubs or gardens and the will distribute promotional codes giving people a free trial to the service.
LoveFilm will be launching a new service for its subscribers where they will be able to download short films from the.
LoveFilm chief executive Mark Livingstone said: "It's a great way to introduce short film to the LoveFilm audience."
LoveFilm has more than 100,000 subscribers and has created a number of strategic links with high-street names including WHSmith, Sainsbury's, Woolworths and MVC, and online entertainment retailer CD-Wow; brand partnerships with Sony and Lastminute.com; as well as media alliances with Trinity Mirror Group and FilmFour.
