L'Oreal builds colour clinic site for Fructis

Cosmetics giant L'Oreal has created a microsite as part of an integrated campaign to promote its Fructis Color Last range of hair care products.

The Colour Clinic site, designed by marketing communications consultancy Matinee, aims to target women over the age of 25 who are regular users of premium hair colorant products; it can be accessed via www.garniercolouradvice.co.uk.

Once the site is launched, it takes over the whole screen. Users can customise it by moving elements such as the navigation menu around the screen.

L'Oreal aims to sample 2,500 bottles of Color Last through the microsite; visitors can also enter a competition to win a consultation with style guru Trevor Halls and use a diagnostic tool to discover what colour would best suit their hair.

Universal McCann Interactive will handle an online ad campaign to drive traffic to the site. Ads will appear on 10 sites, including Zoom.co.uk, handbag.com and iVillage.co.uk.

An above-the-line campaign has been designed by Publicis.
