Two catering officials at Lord's have been suspended as an internal investigation is launched into their conduct.
Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) executive chef Steve Smith and catering general manager Mark Harris were asked to leave the cricket ground last Friday (4 November) according to reports.
MCC confirmed to Event that the pair had been suspended but said it had no comment to make on the internal investigation.
Unsubstantiated rumours have been reported of allegations that the catering team were working on outside events using supplies from Lord's.
