It’s also steeped in history and charm, with extraordinary architecture and a fascinating collection of cricketing art and memorabilia, including the iconic Ashes Urn.
But you don’t have to attend a match at Lord’s to experience its year-round magic. Its glamour and charm are always at their height in the summer months both on and off the pitch.
Located in the heart of London and offering stunning vistas of the hallowed turf the alfresco event spaces for summer parties offer an oasis within the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The Harris Garden located behind the Pavilion on the site of a rose garden is a favourite for summer parties and drinks receptions catering for a maximum of 200 guests. It is rare to find such a tranquil outdoor space in the centre of London. Clients have added extra elements to create a majestic ambience, such as a live string quartet or jazz trio.
Stretching the entire length of the Pavilion, the beautiful Roof Terrace, is a spacious venue for a summer drinks party or reception for up to 250 guests. The magnificent views of the Ground and beyond to Regents Park gives this alfresco event space further appeal.
Finally the tented Mound Stand Terrace offers a dazzling event space for alfresco parties and receptions with a breathtaking view over the whole of the main ground. The space can accommodate up to 350 guests.
