Johnson will appear in a scene alongside Peggy Mitchell, played by Barbara Windsor, set in the Queen Vic pub.
The soap is running a storyline around pub land lady Peggy getting involved in local politics. She will try to track down Johnson during a visit to Walford and find him in the Queen Vic.
Johnson said it was a ‘tremendous honour' to step inside the Queen Vic. The scene was filmed on Friday and will be shown this autumn.
Other celebrities to appear in the BBC soap include comedian David Walliams and singer Robbie Williams.
