The ad campaign, through Mustoes, breaks on Monday October 4 and continues with the "Your local health authority" strapline.
The 20-second spot features three people riding up an escalator. It brings to attention the fact that one of them is unaware that they have high blood pressure.
The ads were written by Mark Prime and art directed by Lee Hanson. Simon Neal directed the ads and film company Another produced the commercial.
Previous advertising over the past 18 months also ran with the strapline "Your local health authority" and focused on Lloyd's Pharmacy's free testing for diabetes, the implementation of private consultation rooms, the removal of all sun cream below SPF 15 from the shelves and creating awareness about the correct use of vitamin and mineral supplements. The campaign was fronted by BBC presenter Phillipa Forrester.
Andy Murdock, superintendent pharmacist at Lloydspharmacy, said: "As a responsible pharmacy retailer, we believe our customers should be made aware of the risks of high blood pressure and the fact that it's easy to pop into your local Lloydspharmacy for a free test."
Mick Mahoney, executive creative director at Mustoes, added: "These commercials will further establish Lloydspharmacy as genuine champions of people's health."
Mustoes recently appointed Quiet Storm's head of client services Allan Dutton as marketing director to head up new business.
The agency also produced a 拢15m animated ad campaign for Kia Motors to promote the Picanto, which was directed by Pete Candeland, who has worked on animated videos for Damon Albarn's band Gorillaz.
