Lloyd James relaunches bureau operation as Cordis

LONDON - Lloyd James has revamped its bureau operation, which will now trade under the name Cordis and will specialise in data processing and management.

Cordis will create data packages for clients, focusing on database design and management, while taking advantage of the recent surge in firms that are calling for heightened data security.

The data division will be led by Glyn Davies, who has been head of the bureau for several years, and Matthew Cantlon, who was recruited to spearhead the division in June, and was the founder and managing director of CYBA Computer Services.

Andy Benson has been promoted to head of database development, while David Sweeney will lead a newly formed Cordis sales team.

Davies said: "The launch of Cordis is an aggressive move on Lloyd James Group's part to steal more market share in the competitive bureau/data sector."

Cantlon said: "At Cordis, we can offer a secure and audit-proof environment where clients can store their data yet still have real-time online access."
