Littlewoods and AOL in marketing pact

High-street retailer Littlewoods and AOL UK have signed a marketing and distribution agreement to dispense AOL’s software and promote Littlewoods’ products.

LONDON (Brand Republic) – High-street retailer Littlewoods and AOL UK have signed a marketing and distribution agreement to dispense AOL’s software and promote Littlewoods’ products.

Littlewoods will distribute AOL’s unmetered access software as well as a co-branded version of AOL’s Netscape Online in its stores and home shopping channels. In return, AOL will promote Littlewoods’ products on the home shopping channels of its AOL and Compuserve subscription services, on its AOL portal and on its Netscape Online service.

AOL announced yesterday that it was opening up its unmetered internet access service to everyone, having completed successful trials of the service among existing members.
