Integral Marketing has launched Holiday Masterfile - a database consisting of 735,000 named individuals who are regular purchasers of holiday offers. All the names in the file have responded to special promotions offering prices lower than the high street, which have been advertised on inserts in travel brochures. All names have been sourced in the past 18 months, with the majority collected this year. The database is recommended for holiday and travel offers, insurance, credit cards and leisure.

Base rental price: £100 per 1,000.

Telemark Eclectic Moods

Prospect Swetenhams has introduced the Telemark Ecelctic Moods list, a file consisting of 145,107 readers of a middle-market national daily newspaper who have responded to off-the-page offers for music CDs. Some are individuals that have spent an average of £25 on a collection of CDs, while others have sent off five daily tokens to receive a free CD. The types of music each individual has purchased includes easy listening, adult-orientated rock, jazz, country, classical, pop and soul. Fifty per cent of the list consists of retired people and 60 per cent are female.

E-mail marketing and data specialist Electronic Direct Response is offering a list of 1.4 million e-mail addresses of consumers that have organised both personal and professional travel through online train retailer thetrainline.com. Individuals have used thetrainline web site to book tickets for trains and planes, hire cars, purchase holidays and to organise travel insurance. Fifty-seven per cent of the database consists of males aged between 18 and 44, and they are typically white-collar professionals, senior managers, managers, self-employed or students.

Way Ahead

HLB has released a database containing 1.5 million people who have purchased tickets for pop and rock concerts, including Robbie Williams, Oasis and Glastonbury, from premium ticket distributor Way Ahead. Names were sourced through in-bound telesales calls from those that have heard about the company through direct mail, national press advertising and outdoor media, with a strict verbal opt-out option offered on each call. Over half the database is female and 98 per cent of individuals have used a credit card to make purchases, spending between £50 to £60 per transaction.

Travel Trade Gazette Asia

Dynamiq Response Arena has released the database of 16,450 subscribers to Travel Trade Gazette Asia, a leading travel trade newspaper for the region. Published weekly, the newspaper reports on the Asian travel industry from management to operations staff, including travel agencies, hotels, airlines, national tourist offices, cruise operators and convention organisers. Over 82 per cent of subscribers are from travel agents.

Mail-order catalogue The Cotswold Company has updated its customer database of 98,400 0-12 month buyers. The catalogue offers furniture designs ranging from nostalgic and traditional to classic and contemporary. The majority of individuals on the list are females aged between 25 and 64 who are well-educated professionals. The average order value is £75 and there is a high level of repeat purchase. Customer interests include reading about current affairs, DIY and foreign travel.

Kenwood In Car Entertainment

The Kenwood In-Car Entertainment Buyers list, managed by MMS, now consists of 17,047 car owners who have spent between £250 and £600 on their Kenwood in-car entertainment system. Prospects are sourced when customers register for the Kenwood theft replacement scheme. Seventy-six per cent of individuals are male, and over half are aged under 30. The majority have access to a computer and the internet, and 70 per cent are planning to replace their car within the next two years.

Mamas & Papas

Isis Direct's Mamas & Papas database offers 84,593 0-12 month buyers. Prospects are mainly females aged between 25 to 34 and mothers of children aged up to two years old. During the past 12 months they have purchased nursery products, pushchairs, car seats and maternity and babywear. Their interests include gourmet food, arts and antiques, the theatre, cosmetics and sports. They are also interested in stocks and shares and are high users of the internet and home shopping channels.

Singapore Consumers

MLA has updated the Telemarketing Responders in Asia list of consumers that have responded to telemarketing offers through leading call centres in Singapore. The database carries 122,650 postal addresses, 113,405 phone numbers, 91,060 e-mail addresses and 110,900 fax numbers. It is updated daily and has a minimum order of 5,000 names.

Base rental price: $250 per 1,000.

Sirius DRTV

The Sirius DRTV Mail-Order Buyers file, managed by ListLab, has been updated and now offers an extra 15,000 names. Sirius TV operates across three TV shopping channels on digital, satellite and cable TV, selling products such as Total Gym Xli and the Restform high-rise airbed for the home. Fifty-three per cent of buyers are females predominantly aged over 35, are high income earners, and have spent between £25 and £200 for the products.

The Book People

The Book People file consists of mail-order buyers from The Book People's catalogue, managed by Tri-Direct Group. Tri-Direct is now offering selections of individual buying groups within the catalogue's mailing and product despatch insert programmes. Buyers are aged 35-plus and are active users of credit cards.

Economist.com, managed by Mardev, has released its database of 145,649 subscribers. The list contains postal and opt-in e-mail addresses of customers who read The Economist magazine and access its website for news on global business, politics and scientific developments. The file is recommended for travel and business services, retail financial services, cataloguers, IT vendors, conferences and education and training.

Consodata RFM has been appointed by Emap Consumer Magazines to handle its database of 1.2 million subscribers to well-known consumer titles such as Heat, FHM and Today's Golfer. Individuals are largely males aged between 25 and 44, who are homeowners. Seventy-three per cent own a credit card and 50 per cent have broadband internet access.

EMI - Insight Music Mail Order

Listlab has won the management of the EMI - Insight Music Mail Order file which consists of 135,000 buyers of various compilations through direct response television ads and the www.insmusic.com website. Sixty per cent of the file is male and 85 per cent have paid by credit card.

Uni-Marketing has won the management of Newsweek International's Atlantic edition database. The Atlantic edition of Newsweek, the global news magazine, spans Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the database contains 87,840 paid subscribers, who are 71 per cent male with a good knowledge of English. They mainly hold professional or managerial positions and take an average of 5.3 international trips per year. Many have been loyal subscribers for an average number of 9.8 years.
