The Sun claims that Allen has been dropped because of a dispute between the founders of the firm, Joe Corre and Serena Rees, who are divorcing.
Allen was set to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Kylie Minogue and Kate Moss, after being hired by Rees. However, an ad campaign in which she appeared wearing a corset and stockings will no longer be used to promote Agent Provocateur, because it has been vetoed by Corre. The company has said it may end up being used editorially.
Separately, BBC Three has hit back at reports claiming Lily Allen's new late-night chat show, part of the channel's revamp, has been a dud.
The station said that it had scored a 4.5% share of the 16- to 34-year-old audience, which was its second highest weekly share to date.
Unofficial overnight figures showed that the first instalment of 'Lily Allen & Friends', featuring guests Cuba Gooding Jr and 'Peep Show''s David Mitchell, had an audience of 255,000 viewers, or 2% of the multichannel audience in its 10.30pm-11.15pm slot. Reports in the press had said that a third of the studio audience who attended the show's taping had walked out because they were bored.
However, the BBC said that the programme had remained in the top 20 shows viewed on iPlayer since it went live on the service last Wednesday.
Danny Cohen, controller of BBC Three, said: "I'm really delighted that we had record figures for our target audience in the first week of the revamp.
"I hope we will continue this excellent young audience growth over the next year or so, and take lots of risks along the way."
In tonight's show, Allen admits that she finds hairy men attractive. The revelation came during an interview with Martin Freeman about Ricky Gervais.
"Allen said: "He's actually my type. I quite like the older man. Has he got a hairy back? I like men with a bit of meat and a bit of hair. Not on the head though – I prefer them bald."
Allen is reported to be engaged to boyfriend Ed Simons of the Chemical Brothers, who is 15 years older than her.
