LG focuses on core message in Optimus Black ads

LG is rolling out an ad campaign for its Optimus Black and Optimus 2X smartphones this week that focuses on a brand message rather than the products themselves.

The outdoor, print and online campaign, by Publicis Modem, centres on animated images and taglines such as 'So quick it outsmarts the rest' and 'Lighten up, life's good'.

The Korean manufacturer is positioning the Optimus 2X handset as the first to have a dual-core processor, and the Optimus Black as possessing the brightest display on the market, according to Alex Windle, head of marketing UK and Ireland at LG Mobile.
