The venue at New Inn Yard will feature a music, social and cultural events programme, free coffee and wi-fi, exhibitions from local artists, free instructional bike workshops and free repair services provided by local mechanics.

Opening this Thursday (7 August), the Levi’s London Commuter Workspace will kick off with an opening party hosted by DJs Only Real and Bradley Zero. The London Cycling ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 will also be in appearance providing a free bike valet service.

Other events to be held at the east London workshop include a vinyl listening party and showcase in collaboration with Dalston store Kristina Records, and an unique lathing session, whereby guests can help to create a chocolate lathe powered entirely by bikes.

Levi’s has created a short film to promote the London workspace, celebrating the modern cycling commute with London-born DJ and poet James Massiah.

The Commuter Workspace concept is designed to unite bike advocates around the globe, with events also taking place in Brooklyn, New York and Los Angeles, California, throughout July and August. Inspired by the sessions, Levi’s has also created a design range dubbed the Commuter collection.
