LBM eyes financial services clients after Lingard hire

LONDON - Customer contact business LBM has recruited Michael Lingard, a financial services business development veteran, as principal consultant.

During a consumer career spanning 20 years, Lingard has worked in a business development and marketing capacity for American Express, Abbey, Egg and MBNA, and most recently Sav Credit, which markets the Aqua Mastercard.

In addition to his financial services experience, Lingard has worked as a marketing consultant for clients in the travel and communication industries.

The appointment of Lingard follows that of Dak Liyanearachchi in October. LBM poached Liyanearachchi from Dunnhumby, where he was global business development director, to lead its new consumer data and consulting division as commercial director.

Liyanearachchi said: "Mike adds further credibility to our overall service. We are already creating much more around our consumer offering and Mike's appointment will allow us to move into yet more areas, including financial services."
