The travel and leisure online retailer has linked with the Press Association to enable movie-goers to search for films by cinema, town and postcode and title.
Both partners break new ground with the deal as PA will host the listing page and search engine for a Lastminute.com-branded service in its entertainment offer.
It is the first time the PA has hosted a listing service for a partner and Lastminute.com's first "white label" page.
Paul Shaw, head of leisure at Lastminute.com, said: "As going to the cinema can often be a very last-minute decision, it's a great fit with the Lastminute.com brand."
The Lastminute.com service will feature an Inspire Me option that will allow its customers to search by film classifications or genre. At the moment, tickets are only available to certain screenings, such as charity premieres, and the cinema section also offers users the chance to buy or rent DVDs.
PA will update the service every week. The organisation offers hosted services in the news, sport, weather, TV listings and arts and leisure.
