Lastminute.com brings advertising sales in-house

LONDON - Lastminute.com has amicably parted company with Unanimis, its advertising sales agency of two years, after deciding to bring the work in-house.

Lastminute.com brings advertising sales in-house

Unanimis was appointed in May 2001 after had found it had limited success in reaching media agencies to sell advertising and sponsorships, as well as developing partnerships.

The company said that strong relationships with agencies had now been built. Russell Young, agency sales manager at Lastminute.com, said: "We now intend to build on this and continue the excellent work Unanimis has done with our in-house agency sales team."

Unanimis' other clients include Ebookers, Expedia, eBay.co.uk and DeliaSmith Online. Managing director Khalil Ibrahimi said: "While we are sad to see such a strong client relationship come to an end, we are happy that the work we have done over the past few years for Lastminute.com has made the case for bringing advertising sales in-house."
