Lastminute appoints Big Al's Creative Emporium after six-way pitch

LONDON - Lastminute.com has appointed advertising agency Big Al's Creative Emporium to work on an integrated advertising campaign, which will launch in the New Year.

The campaign will run on- and off-line and will promote the company's travel products.

Big Al won the project after a six-way pitch process and will work alongside Lastminute.com's in-house creative team.

The Soho-based agency previously worked on 's summer campaign.

Recently Lastminute.com launched a summer postcard service with MMS photo messaging company Mobycards. It aimed to inspire holidaymakers to send a personalised postcard for a camera phone direct to their friends and families letterbox

The service costs £2.50 a card including printing and posting costs and can be sent to an address anywhere in the UK from an MMS-enabled phone.

Lastminute.com is now part of Travelocity Europe, having been acquired acquired by Travelocity's parent company Sabre Holding Corporation on July 20.
