Lancaster House has been lined-up by the Government to be a showcase for the UK during the London Olympics.

The venue is set to host events and act as a ‘trade hub’ during 2012.

Events and activity are likely to be based around commercial aims with countries such as ‘China, India and Brazil as well as established ones such as Germany and France,’ according to a report on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s strategy for the Games.
