In his new role, Korin will lead the European sales team, drive revenue for the region, and continue to assist with publishers and platform relationships across key territories.
Korin has been with the network for four years, where offerings include games from leading publishers including THQ, SEGA, Eidos and Midway. In the past two years, he has managed Double Fusion's development in Europe, as it looks to pave the way for advertisers looking to reach young consumers through immersive in-game marketing programmes.
Jonathan Epstein, president and chief executive of Double Fusion, said: "Noam has been instrumental in growing our business in Europe and introducing Double Fusion's benefits to scores of marketers in this region.
"From his work directly with publishers, to helping brands navigate this new and effective advertising platform, Noam has fully understood this important marketplace. We are fortunate to have someone of his calibre on our team and we look forward to taking his contributions and the category to the next level."
Korin's promotion follows Double Fusion's appointment last week of game industry veteran, Monika Madrid, to the role of vice-president of business.
Madrid, who previously served in leadership positions at LiveGamer and Ubisoft, is responsible for growing Double Fusion's relationship base with top-tier game publishers and platforms, across the spectrum of games that appeal to consumers and advertisers from console to casual, whether sold in retail or offered as free-to-play online experiences.
Both announcements come on the heels of double-digit revenue growth in 2008, with the company expanding beyond its core games to include those appealing to a broader set of consumers, including teens, young adults, and women over 25.
"One only has to look at the recent videogame sales figures to realise that games are the one form of entertainment consumers don't want to live without," said Epstein.
