The series will start next Friday and will chart dance music's progress and development over the past 20 years.
Oakenfold is the brand's second ambassador after Sam Branson, the son of Richard Branson, who was recruited in March to front the 'Kiss the Planet' campaign, intended to raise awareness of global warming.
Oakenfold was one of the founders of club culture and was first broadcast on Kiss in 1985, during its early days as a pirate station in London.
While not everyone may be familiar with his international reputation, his work such as the 'Matrix Reloaded' sound track and the 'Big Brother' theme tune is well known.
The signing of a big name such as Oakenfold comes at an important time for Kiss. The year has so far seen the station's audience reaching more 15-34-year-olds than any other station in London.
Andy Roberts, group programme director at Kiss Radio, said: "We're delighted to have Paul back on the station, it's great to get his take on where dance music is now."
