Kip Meek joins RadioCentre board

RadioCentre has appointed former Ofcom policy partner Kip Meek as a non-executive director on its board.

Meek, who helped to set up Ofcom in 2003 and became chief policy officer in 2005, setting up an international group and chairing the European Regulators Group, which was made up of representatives from regulatory bodies across Europe.
Since leaving Ofcom at the start of the year, he has joined the Ingenious board as a director and become non-executive chair of the Broadband Stakeholder Group.
Meek's appointment to the RadioCentre board follows the hiring of Martina King as chair of the Radio Advertising Bureau. King is also a non-executive director of RadioCentre.
Fellow RadioCentre board members include Ralph Bernard, chief executive of GCap Media, Emap's Dee Ford, Phil Riley from Chrysalis, Scott Taunton at UTV, GMG Radio head John Myers, Michael Betton at Lincs FM and Tindle Radio's Kevin Stewart.
