Kiehl's and Paramount have joined forces on a suitably farcical ad, promoting the launch of the new Zoolander 2 movie, starring Ben Stiller.

The spot pivots around a joke made in the first film, in which the star of the movie, Derek Zoolander, makes a pledge to start "The Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Who Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too".

Viewers can’t help but crack a smile as an innocent, blue eyed and blonde haired child steps on screen with the distinct voice of Alec Baldwin, as he reclaims his ‘inner man child’, or a young girl dressed in a preppy over-the-shoulder sweater impersonating Martha Stewart, even if it is a tad disturbing.

Imaginative and playful, The Zoolander 2 team and Kiehl’s have taken a creative, cross-platform approach to the launch of the new film, creating products dedicated to Derek such as ‘The Ridiculously Youthful Collection’.

In the words of Cheryl Vitali, general manager of Kiehl’s Worldwide, "Derek has always expressed a great passion for having ridiculously good-looking skin so we felt it was a natural fit to collaborate with him."

Clearly this brand doesn't hold back when it comes to getting into character and have embraced the launch of the film from all angles.
