
‘Kids in Care’ followed a number of children in Coventry over a six month period. Its average audience was 3.71 million between 9pm and 10pm last night, a 16.4% share of the TV watching audience.
‘71 Degrees North’, which charts celebrities as they battle freezing temperatures in the Arctic, was watched by an average of 3.45 million people on ITV1 and ITV1 HD, a 15.3% share of the TV watching audience.
The third most watched show at 9pm was ‘CSI: Miami’ with 2.27 million viewers, a 10% share of the TV watching audience, ahead of the Alan Davies chef comedy ‘Whites’ with 2.01 million across BBC Two and BBC HD.
The third episode of Channel 4’s real life documentary ‘Seven Days’ was beaten by all four of the other terrestrial channels with just 604,900 viewers between 10pm and 11pm, a 3.6% share of the available audience.
BBC One was also the most watched channel between 10pm and 11pm with the ‘BBC News at Ten’ followed by ‘My Story’, a documentary about extreme survival and an average audience of 3.7 million.
